Observed on 10th October, World Homeless Day aims to raise awareness about the needs of people experiencing homelessness and promote work being done in communities to help people get back on their feet.
With homelessness rising year on year across the North West, and our busiest season on the horizon, we need your help to provide our vital services in the community.

Go Purple for Petrus!
We’re asking the community to help turn Rochdale purple with us on Friday 10th October (or any other date that suits you better!).
Wear purple, decorate your workplace, host a coffee morning or bake sale and collect donations with your school, office or community group.
Purple symbolises the bravery, independence and resilience of those rebuilding their lives after experiencing homelessness. By wearing it, we honour their strength and raise vital funds.

Let’s Go Purple together!
10 people donating £5 each to Go Purple, raises enough for 10 people to eat for a whole week at our Hub.
15 people donating £5 each to Go Purple, raises enough to provide 5 emergency food parcels for vulnerable people.
20 people donating £5 each to Go Purple, raises enough to provide 5 mobile phone bundles so that a vulnerable person can stay in touch with support services
Together, we will end homelessness and create safe places where all people can flourish.
Head to our Enthuse page to donate or set up your own fundraising page. Select fundraise for us on the top banner and choose join an existing event to join our teams going Purple for Petrus!
Don’t forget to share your photos with us by tagging Petrus Community on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn.

Getting involved? Don’t forget to let us know!
We’re on hand to support you as you fundraise for us. We can visit your school, workplace or community group to talk about our work, or provide buckets, help with posters or whatever else you need!
