Petrus has been awarded the Mayor of Rochdale Recognition Award for exceptional dedication to supporting homeless and vulnerable people in our community.
The award was presented by Mayor Councillor Faisal Rana and Mayoress Iram Faisal.
It recognises Petrus for “outstanding dedication, compassionate service and unwavering commitment to supporting the homeless and vulnerable in the local community.”
Our Managing Director, Sonia Denham, accepted the award on behalf of Petrus.
Sonia said: “It is a real honour for Petrus to receive this award from Mayor Councillor Faisal Rana. It reflects the passion, compassion and dedication of everyone at Petrus. Every day, our teams go above and beyond to support people experiencing homelessness and other challenges, helping them to rebuild confidence, independence and hope for the future.
“It also recognises the strength of the partnerships we have built across Rochdale - because creating positive change is something we achieve together. We’re grateful for this recognition and remain committed to bringing hope, dignity and opportunity to people across our community.”
