La Mancha partnership aims to revive key wellbeing service

We’re delighted to share that La Mancha has chosen Petrus as the beneficiary of its voluntary donation scheme over the coming months.

Diners at the much‑loved local tapas restaurant will be invited to add a voluntary donation to their bill, with the aim of raising enough funds to help us restart our weekly Health and Wellbeing Group.

This group has long been a valued part of our Hub activity timetable, offering a welcoming space where people can come together to enjoy arts, crafts, cooking and other mindful activities. It’s a supportive environment that helps individuals build confidence, develop new skills and connect with others.

Unfortunately, recent funding challenges meant we had to temporarily pause the group, leaving many without access to this much‑needed service.

Having previously visited the group, La Mancha owner Sam was inspired to help. In December, he and the team hosted a fantastic festive feast for our service users and volunteers, and now they’re continuing their support by encouraging diners to help us bring the Health and Wellbeing Group back.

A huge thank you to Sam and everyone at La Mancha for their generosity and commitment to our community.
