Our service users are glad our indoor free breakfast service is back!

After a year of serving takeaway meals, we couldn’t have been happier to have welcomed everyone back inside our Hub on Tuesday 18th May for our breakfast service.

In line with Government guidance, for the time being we have introduced the indoor service as two sittings of 16 people.

We’re so pleased that this has been really well received by our service users!

Alan, who we support through our Hub, said: “It’s much better to be able to sit down in the warm. You’re doing a grand job, like you have all along.”

David, who has been using our breakfast service for a few years now as he couldn’t find one local to himself said: “It’s nice being able to come indoors, it’s better because when it’s cold outside it’s not so nice. It feels warm and friendly inside, I like continuing to come here because I know the staff well.”

One service user added: “If it weren’t for here, we’d be starving in the mornings.”

Our morning breakfast service is free for individuals to use and our team are always onsite from 9am to offer any advice or support they may need.

Takeaway remains available from 9am, but for anyone wishing to sit inside the two sitting times are as follows:

  • First sitting starts at 9am
  • Second sitting starts at 9.40am
