Candlelight Cafe is reopen for our female service users!

We’re excited to share that as of 8th July 2021, our Candlelight Café will reopen at Petrus Hub every Thursday from 11am to 2.30pm.

This is a safe space for women to socialise and join us for homecooked food and a variety of activities; previously those who attended took part in activities such as mindful colouring and their art continues to be proudly displayed at the Hub.

It is named Candlelight Café as we dim the main lights and use fairy lights to create a lovely warm and relaxing atmosphere!

Here those who attend can also access support and advice for issues on housing, substance misuse and domestic violence as well as provisions like toiletries and sanitary items from our dedicated Women’s Service team.

The health and safety of our service users, volunteers and staff remains our priority so our team will be following the latest government COVID-19 guidance to keep one another safe.

For the time being, the maximum number of people onsite at our Hub is 16.

If we reach full capacity, we’ll follow an order of welcoming one person in as another leaves, with full cleaning in between.

But we will be providing takeaway meals throughout.

No booking is required.

You’ll find us at Petrus Hub, 73 Great George Street, Rochdale, OL16 1QG
