Bond Board and the Petrus Community Partnership Agreement

Bond Board and the Petrus Community Partnership Agreement
The Bond Board and the Petrus Community have agreed a formal partnership. The agreement builds on Step Up Rochdale and the Spare Room Projects two successful joint initiatives in Rochdale Borough which have helped to reduce and prevent homelessness.

The agreement commits both organisations to continue working together to expand and develop housing options and opportunities for homeless and vulnerable people and support people's independence and health and wellbeing via community based services.

Lynda Robinson Chair of the Petrus Community said "Petrus are delighted to sign this agreement which gives us a springboard for future working and providing much needed services which will help local people in housing need."

These words were echoed by Babette Howard, Trustee Chair of The Bond Board - "The Bond Board has been working successfully in partnership with Petrus on projects like Step Up Rochdale, No Second Night Out and the Spare Room lodging Project. The signing the partnership agreement with Petrus will allow us to build on this success and will create opportunities for our partnership to help more homeless people find and keep a home".
