Petrus Community Store

The Community Store is a social enterprise set up by Petrus Community, which helps to generate income for Petrus Housing while supporting the local community and the local people.

It provides a resource for the community by offering second hand, high quality goods such as furniture, white good and other household equipment at discounted prices. This not only reduces landfill waste, but also provides an income which directly supports the work of Petrus Housing, and offers a place for people to purchase items, knowing that it is supporting the local community.

The Community Store embraces people from all walks of life. It allows for people to volunteer their time and knowledge to help support the store, and in return, it supports them to learn new skills to help them transition back in to working life.

Anyone can get involved, either through donating goods or volunteering. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to get involved.

The Petrus Community Store is open:

  • Monday to Friday: 9am - 4pm
  • Saturday: 10am - 3pm

You will find us here:
